CLAYTON, Victor-
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Victor Guy Clayton, 56, who departed this world on April 1, 2025, in Hamilton, Ontario. Victor was born on June 18, 1968, in Montreal, Quebec, raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Victor later made his home in Niagara Falls, Ontario.
Victor was a devoted father to his twelve children, Jocelyne (Demar), Rictor, Victor Jr., Ronald, Liam, Trevon, Kane, Kruz, India, Kingston, Kreadon, Kage and a proud grandfather of two grandsons, Jadeiz and Jailyn, who brought immense joy to his life. He was a beloved son to his mother, Mary David, of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, who survives him, and he is now reunited with his father, Bayfield Clayton, in eternal peace.
He will be deeply missed by his loving common-law, Shannon, his siblings: Yvonne David, Tira Clayton of Toronto, Ontario, Vincent Clayton, and Quentin David of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, three Nephews and six Nieces as well as a host of extended family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Victor was more than just a talented local rapper aka Vicious Kash—he was a storyteller, a poet, and a voice for his community. Victor was a force in the local rap scene, known for his raw talent and passion for music. His passion for music was undeniable, and through his lyrics, he told stories of life, struggles, and triumphs, resonating deeply with those who listened. One of his most notable performances was his song “Must Be the Scotian,” a tribute to his roots and the culture that shaped him. Whether on stage, in the studio, or freestyling among friends, his music left a lasting impact on his community. His music was a reflection of his life, full of strength, resilience, and authenticity.
Beyond his music, Victor was known for his infectious laughter, his ability to light up a room, and his unwavering love for his family. His legacy lives on through his children, his music, and the countless lives he touched.
May he rest in peace, forever remembered and cherished.
A celebration of Victor’s life will be held on MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main St., Niagara Falls, on Friday, April 11, 2025, from 12 noon -2 p.m. with the funeral service at
