The death occurred at Western Hospital, Alberton on Tuesday,
July 15, 2025 of Verouse Thomas Sentner of Cape Wolfe aged 89 beloved
husband of just about 69 years to Helen (nee Cooke). Verouse was born
on December 20, 1935, son of the late Emmett and Frances (Matthews)
Sentner.
Cherished father to Rev. Dan (Julie), Ruth Hogg, Jerry
(Janet) and Cheryl (Richard) MacNeill. Loving grampy to Melissa (Mark)
Robinson, Stacey Lee (Collin) Davison, Joel (Heather) MacNeill,
Jonathon (Kelsey) MacNeill, David Sentner, Andrew (Sarah) Sentner,
Rachael (Anthony) Cummiskey, Jacqueline MacNeill, Aaron (Madelyn)
Sentner, Jackson Hogg and caring great grampy to Rodney, Connor,
Thomas, Bobby, Stella and Harrison.
Dear brother to Betty Grant, David (Bonnarae) Sentner, Emily
(David) Ellsworth, Linda (Percy) Manuel and Gary (Rhoda) Sentner.
Brother in law to Norma Sentner, Doug Smith, Marie Collicutt, Elwood
(Shirley) Cooke, Edith Cooke and Beryl Cooke.
Predeceased by his parents, infant son and daughter at birth,
son in law Rodney Hogg, granddaughter Rebecca, sisters Miriam Thomson,
Arlene Smith and brothers John, Edgar and Percy.
Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary with
visiting hours on Friday from 9:30 am – 10:45 am, followed by his
funeral service in the chapel at 11:00 am. Interment to follow in the
Springfield West Baptist Cemetery.
