It is with heavy hearts the family announces the sudden passing of Trystan Cort (Shkobinongoons – Red Star) from an undiagnosed heart condition. Loving son of Amy Cort and Marc Leblanc (baa). Cherished brother and protector of Brooklynn, Damian, Hazel and London. Grandparents Darlene Trudeau, Paul Shawana, Sherry and Gerry Leblanc. Great Grandparents Clara Trudeau (James (baa)), Robert Lewis (baa). Uncles Ryan Cort, Devron Trudeau (Gabrielle) and Aunties Shawna Leblanc (Matthew), Ashley Trudeau (Sheldon). Godparents: Laura Shigwadja, Russell Lemarr, Devron Trudeau and Megan Trudeau (baa). Cousins Jaydin, Justice, Lync, Destiny, Ryley, Maddison and Scarlette.
Lovingly remembered by girlfriend Chloe Danuk-Hanlon, Special Auntie Natalie, his ginormous family, Bro Squad and many friends.
Trystan was a caring and loyal person. His passion for fun and adrenaline were only matched by the size of his heart and the love he had for family and friends. With a larger-than-life personality and enough charisma and charm to bear, Trystan was fearless and faithful to all he loved; especially his sister, Brooklynn. He was an incredibly generous young man and would help any person or animal in need. Since he was a baby Trystan loved making people laugh and had a contagious smile. He enjoyed long quad rides, hunting, hanging out with friends and always looking fly in Nike Tech Suits. Trystan left us for too early but one thing for sure, his zest for life and desire to make others happy will never be forgotten.
First resting place will be taking place at the Jackson & Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch Street, Sudbury. Friends may gather from 2-5pm and 7-9pm on Saturday, January 18th, 2025 and after 9:30am – 4pm Sunday, January 19th, 2025.
With his final resting place at St. Ignatius Church in Buzwah, Wiikwemkoong, visitation will take place after 7pm on Sunday, January 19, 2025, Funeral Mass at Holy Cross Church Wikwemikong on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at 11am, with cremation to follow.
