Trudy Ann Taylor Cheeseman Obituary
Trudy Ann Taylor Cheeseman passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre, surrounded by her loving family, on March 2nd, 2025, at the age of 61 years.
Predeceased by her husband: William Cheeseman; parents-in-law: Urban and Mary Cheeseman; brother-in-law: Robert P. Johnston.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughter: Courtney Cheeseman of Mount Pearl; son: Matthew Cheeseman; grandchildren: Kyler and Maze of Thompson, Manitoba; parents: Erika and Eric Taylor of Paradise; sisters: Gloria Johnston (John Hall) of Southport, North Carolina and Heather Taylor (Wesley Earle) of Bay Roberts. As well as a large extended family of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and close friends.
Trudy worked as a student assistant at Christ the King School in Rushoon for more than 20 years. Miss Trudy was loved by her students, especially Emma. She was well respected by her co-workers and the larger school community.
Trudy was a beautiful, caring and loving person with an amazing sense of humor. She was well known for her talent in writing and performing skits at community events.
She was known to her family and friends as a fashionista. There could never be too much pink or too much sparkle. Trudy’s whole personality sparkled, and our world will miss her brilliance. Her light will continue to shine in the hearts of her family and friends.
Forever grateful to Debbie Johnston for her love and support when Trudy needed assistance. Special thanks for the care and comfort provided by Dr. Dawn Armstrong, Dr. Kara Laing, all the staff at the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Centre, and the staff at Emergency and 5NorthB of the Health Sciences Centre.
Visitation will be held at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Thursday, March 6th, 2025, from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will take place at Barrett’s Memorial Chapel on Friday, March 7th, at 2:00 pm.
Interment will take place at a later date. Flowers gratefully accepted by the family or donations may be made in Trudy’s memory to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre.
