Cunningham, Trudy Ann – 71, of The Hawk, born to Leander Wilbert Atwood (predeceased) and Frances Elizabeth (Atkinson) Atwood (predeceased) passed away peacefully in the late hours of February 10th, 2025 surrounded by family.
She married her soulmate, Eric Cunningham, on May 22, 1970 and together, they led a quiet life on The Hawk in Cape Sable Island encompassed by her family, her friends and her garden. She was an active member of her community, a devoted wife, a caring sister, a loving mother, an adoring grandmother and great-grandmother and an extraordinary woman.
Trudy is survived by her husband, Eric Walter Cunningham; her two daughters, Barbara (Jeremy) Mullins and Shelia Marsh; five brothers and five sisters; her five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, Trudy was predeceased by her brother, Gary Herbert Atwood.
There will be a service for those who would like to say their final goodbye to Trudy on Saturday February 15, 2025 at 2:00 pm from the H.M. Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, Barrington. Visitation will be held at the H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Barrington on Friday, February 14 from 7-9 pm.
