It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Tracey April Percival (Knapp), on Saturday, March 15th, 2025, at the age of 56.
Cherished and beloved wife of Darryl. Loving mother of Reed and Kane. Daughter of the late Harold (2024), and the late Muriel (2017). Sister of Shelley (Tony), Melody (John), Tammy (Joseph), Penny (Blaise), Troy (Cheryl), Ross, and Holly (Rick). Much loved daughter-in-law of the late Ivan Percival, and the late Karen Percival. Sister-in-law to Kerri (Peter), and Cheryl (Ron). Tracey will be fondly remembered and missed by her many nieces and nephews.
Tracey was unwaveringly dedicated to her family, always putting them first. She was a huge animal lover and showered the family’s pets, Elvis, Maggie, Fritz, and Marbles, with much love and affection. Family was Tracey’s compass, and she lived her life with them at the heart of everything she did. She loved her vacations, preferably on a warm beach and long walks with her husband. Tracey took great pride in looking her best. It wasn’t uncommon for her to wear a stylish outfit where her shoes, belt, purse and nail polish all matched! Tracey had an unforgettable smile along with an infectious laugh.
She had diverse artistic tendencies. While raising her children, she focused her talents on making amazing sand sculptures, beautifully themed birthday cakes, and making incredible bird sounds with her hands. In 2022, she became a published author, writing “The Last Goodbye,” a heartfelt story of supporting her mother during the last few days of her life.
As per Tracey’s wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a Celebration of Life held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in memory of Tracey to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society or Hudson Regional Cancer Centre, through RVH.
