It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Tom, on March 25, 2025, at 57 years of age.
Reunited with his cherished parents, Beverly Daynes (1989) and John “Jack” Docherty (1980). Tom will be forever missed by his loving wife, Karen Baynham. Dear brother to, Patricia Smith (Stan), the late Trudy Costea (George) and John Docherty (Myra).
Tom will be missed by his lifelong brothers by heart, Greg Costea, Bill Gainer and the late Chris Rau. Favorite Uncle to his many nieces and nephews, they will all miss him dearly. The Baynham family will forever feel such a huge void that will never be filled. He will be remembered by family and friends who knew and loved him.
Tom worked for many years as the assistant manager at Shoppers Drug Mart and will forever be missed by his “Shoppers Girls”. He most recently worked for Russell A Farrow. Tom had a passion for music and is now an official member of his favorite band, The Grateful Dead. He was a lifelong fan of the Detroit Tigers and Lions always rooting (or screaming) for his teams. His ability to light up a room with his sense of humour, practical jokes and quick wit is how he will always be remembered.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Lung Association, Alzheimer’s Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
Family and friends are invited to Families First South Windsor (3260 Dougall Ave. Windsor, ON 519-969-5841) for visiting from 12:00pm until time of Tom’s celebration of life at 3:00pm. Cremation will follow.
