Passed peacefully at hospice with his family gathered at his side on St. Patrick’s Day, March 17, 2025 at 90 years of age. Beloved husband of 69 years of Euleen (nee Girard). Loving father of Rebecca Langlois (Don), Kevin McCann (Karen) of Calgary Alberta, Brian McCann (Wendy). Amazing Grandpa to Ryan Langlois (Lyndsay), Ashley (Anthony Abdallah), Jocelyn (Matt Jarnevic), Brooke McCann, Justin McCann (Emily), Eric McCann (Kelsey), Drew McCann (Kelsey), Evan McCann and Connor McCann. Great Grandfather “GG Tom” to Pierson and James Langlois, Lucas, Leo and Oliver Abdallah, Jack, Mickey and Joelle Jarnevic of BC, Logan and Alex McCann and Riley Dowell. Predeceased by his siblings, Mickey, Mary, Rose and Anita. Uncle Tom will be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews.
Tom and Euleen retired early enough to enjoy many years at their home in Florida. He will always be remembered for his sense of humour, his love of family, friends and neighbors. In addition to Tom being a proud Honorary 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus 4924 for many years, he dedicated his time volunteering with Goodfellows and had a passion for playing baseball and enjoyed many golf games.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Goodfellows or In Honour of The Ones We Love.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2025, from 2:00pm-5:00pm and 7:00pm-9:00pm with Knights of Columbus prayers at 7:30pm at Families First East Windsor (1065 Lauzon Rd. Windsor, ON. 519-969-5841). On Friday, March 21, 2025, friends and family are invited directly to Our Lady of Guadalupe for a funeral mass at 10:30am (834 Raymo Rd, Windsor, ON).
