It is with sadness we announce the
passing of Theresa Diane Smith, 79 years,
of Debert and formerly of Springhill, on Sunday, February 16, 2025 at
Debert Court, Debert, NS.
Born in Springhill, she was a daughter
of the late Anne (Harrison) Duncan.
Theresa enjoyed spending time outdoors
at her and Donald’s camp in River Philip. She loved to travel, even in
her later years. She was an avid bakery and crafter and even had her
own ceramic business for many years. She was a member of her beloved
card club for 50+ years. Theresa enjoyed many summers at her cottage
in Port Howe and spending time on the
beach.
Above all else she loved spending time
with her family, especially her grandchildren and
great-children.
She is survived by a daughter, Wanda
(Max) Dutton, and a son Randy (Lindsay) Smith;
grandchildren, Morgan, Spencer and Avery; siblings Arlene
Brundage, Clayton Farren, Ricky Farren, Elaine Rae and John Farren; as
well as many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband
Donald Smith and brother Doug Ferren.
The family would like to give a special
thank you to the Willow Lodge in Tatamagouche and the Debert Court in
Debert for their wonderful care.
Arrangements are under the care and
guidance of A. H. Brown Funeral Home, 5
McFarlane Street, Springhill (902-597-2361). A Graveside
Service will take place in the Hillside Cemetery, Springhill, at a
later date.
