Thelma Fernandez
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Thelma Fernandez on January 4, 2025.
A devoted wife, a loving mother, and a cherished friend, Thelma brought warmth, love and kindness to everyone she met.
Thelma had a unique ability to make everyone around her feel special. Whether she was hosting family gatherings, offering a listening ear, or making small moments feel extraordinary, her presence was a true gift to all who knew her.
Thelma is survived by her husband, Lino, and her children, Ian (Tishina) and Melissa (Stefan). She is also survived by her brother, Melvyn, her cousin Mario, her aunt Helena (Portugal) and their families. Thelma is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Juliet Fernandes, her aunt Elisa Da Costa and her uncle, Tomas Silveira (Portugal).
A viewing will be held at Turner & Porter, 2180 Hurontario Street, Mississauga on Thursday, January 9, 2025 from 4.00– 8.00 p.m.
The Funeral Mass will be held at the Merciful Redeemer Parish, 2775 Erin Centre Blvd. Mississauga, on Friday, January 10, 2025 at 10.00 a.m.
Thelma will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
