Terry passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the Lennox & Addington General Hospital on Saturday, April 5, 2025. Loving husband of Bonnie Thompson (Conners). Proud father of Leah (Andrew) Kivisaari, Jennifer (Chad) Edwards. He will always be cherished in the hearts of his grandchildren Arek, Analia, Avery and Payton. Beloved son Larry Thompson & the late Doreen Thompson.
Terry will be sadly missed by his sisters Karen (Craig) Luxton and Kim (Red) Johnson. Memories of Uncle Terry will be treasured by his nieces & nephews Danielle, Stephanie, Emily. He will be fondly remembered by his Aunt Muriel (Ron) Rosenplot and Uncle Ron Rosenplot and their children, his Aunt Margeret (the late Gordon) Wood their children Kelly and Michael along with his extended family and friends.
Terry retired from General Motors truck plant when he was at the young age of 54. He loved hunting, fishing and the great outdoors. He was an avid Toronto Blue Jay’s fan along with the Toronto Maple Leafs. He loved the Beatles and enjoyed classic rock and roll. We love you and will miss you forever.
Cremation has taken place with Milestone Funeral Center, Northbrook. Interment of his ashes will take place in the Flinton United Church Cemetery at later date.
