It is with deep sadness that we
announce the passing of Terrance Michael McCabe, aged 76, on
July 5th, 2025, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional
Hospital in Fredericton. Terry passed peacefully with his spouse Judy
by his side.
Terry was born in
Moncton and eventually made his home in Fredericton, where he shared
his life with his beloved wife, Beverly (predeceased), and their
daughter, Lisa.
Terrance leaves behind his
daughter, Lisa McCabe, and his spouse, Judy Willetts. He is also
survived by his brothers Jordan (Deborah) McCabe and Donald
(Katherine) McCabe, as well as his nieces and nephews: Allison McCabe,
Michael (Melissa) McCabe, Jeremy McCabe, and Kayla (Christopher)
McCabe-Colford. His extended family includes Bronwyn (Rick) Mooney and
their daughters Jorja and Marli, along with Judy’s sister,
Wanda Gadd, who lovingly cared for Lisa for many
years.
Terrance had a long career with
Xerox, where he worked for many years before retiring. A man of many
talents, he had a true passion for golf, watches, and the intricate
art of repairing timepieces. He also enjoyed working with his hands,
particularly with electronics. One of his most special qualities was
his determination and dedication—whatever he set his mind
to, he would master, no matter how difficult the task. The only
exception to this was his beloved game of golf, which he never quite
conquered, but always enjoyed.
Terrance’s legacy
lives on through his family, his work, and the many lives he touched.
He will be dearly missed but never
forgotten.
In keeping with
Terry’s wishes, no service will be held; however, we ask
that you keep him in your thoughts.
