Tamara Ternes Obituary
With heavy hearts and profound sadness, we announce the passing of Tamara Eden Ternes (nee Dale) of Okotoks, AB on Thursday, January 16, 2025.
Tamara is predeceased by her husband Joe Ternes and her Father Murray Dale.
Tamara is survived by her mother Paulette Dale, two sisters Laura Dale (Jim Gallagher), Caroline LaPointe (Rod LaPointe), niece Stephanie Booth (Steve Booth), Fia Booth and Anna Booth, Cody Dale-McNair (Bri Kathol).
Tamara leaves to mourn her special friend Roy Husch.
Tamara was born and raised in Calgary and had a long career in the oil and gas sector and as an owner of Cattleboyz BBQ sauce.
Young Tamara was a gifted ballet dancer whose performances in productions such as *The Nutcracker* captivated audiences and showcased her talent and dedication to dancing. Tamara had a vibrant spirit, which also shone through in her love for the outdoors. She embraced life with enthusiasm, finding so much joy in activities like golfing, fishing, kayaking, camping and BBQing – She loved her acreage home and always called it her “happy place”, a testament to her adventurous nature and appreciation for life’s simple pleasures.
Tamara cherished her family deeply, holding a special place in her heart for her beloved niece Stephanie and nephew Cody, as well as her great-nieces Fifi and Anna. The time she spent with them was filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories that will forever be treasured.
As we give Tamara to the angels to fly high, may the cherished memories bring solace during this time of sorrow and keep her spirit alive in our hearts.

Funeral Service will be held at Christ Moravian Church (600 Acadia Dr SE, Calgary), on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.
