Sylvia Frances Wilcox passed away peacefully Wednesday May 21 2025 at the Bonnechere Manor in Renfrew, at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late Rod Wilcox (Dec. 2020). Loving mother of Leah (George Pezoulas). Grandma to Andreus (Taylor), Nikos and Zoe Pezoulas. GG to Maverick Pezoulas. Survived by her sister Patricia Bruce (Alan). Sylvia was predeceased by her parents Burt and Lauretta Leeks. She will be missed by nieces and nephews, family and friends.
Sylvia was co owner of Wilcox Jewellery & Gifts with her husband Rod for 35 years. She was a member of the Eganville Sno-Drifters club, the Eganville Curling Club and St John’s Anglican Church. Sylvia enjoyed travelling, cycling and playing bridge with the local bridge ladies.
Professional services have been entrusted to Zohr Family Funeral Home, Eganville. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held by the family at St John’s Anglican Church, Eganville on Monday May 26th at 11:00am.
