Suzanne Barrow Obituary
Suzanne Barrow
It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Suzanne Louise Barrow on January 20, 2025 at the Gimli Community Health Centre, with her husband George by her side.
She will also be dearly missed by her brother Ken; along with many nieces, nephews, step-children, step-grandchildren, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Roy and Louise; sister Donna and brothers Tom and Don.
Suzanne’s first love was George but her art was a close second. She was born and raised in Winnipeg and she soon found her calling for painting and she was especially known for painting beautiful sky scenes.
Special thanks to the staff at the Gimli Community Health Centre for all the excellent care and compassion, especially Julie; also thank you to Jeff for going above and beyond helping with everything.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her name to the Gimli Art Club kids programs.
A celebration of her life will be held in the spring of 2025.
“A limb has fallen from the family tree,
That says grieve not for me,
Remember the best times,
The laughter, the song,
The good life I lived while
I was strong.”
