The family of Susan King of Riverview is deeply saddened to
announce her unexpected passing on March 12, 2025 at her home
residence. Born in Fredericton, she was the daughter of Alexa Kaye and
the late Norm Butler.
Susan was a wonderful mother and fierce defender of her
family. She loved fashion, and her house always looked like something
out of an interior decorator’s magazine. She spent most of
her career at the Riverview Dental Center as a Dental Assistant, where
she was loved by fellow employees and patients alike. She loved to
spend time with family and her two dogs Hugs and Sawyer, who were
forever by her side.
She is survived by her parents Paul and Alexa Kaye, sons
Malcolm McAvoy, Jordan McAvoy, Kyler King, and Kevin King, her
faithful companion Sawyer, and her past husband and best friend for 27
years Andrew M. King. Besides her father, she was predeceased by her
brothers Stephen Malcolm R. Butler and Mark N.E. Butler, as well as
her beloved companion of many years Hugs.
Cremation will take place at Cobb’s Funeral Home
and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd, Riverview (869-2007). Her
family will receive friends and relatives at the funeral home on
Saturday, March 22nd from 2-3pm, with a service
to follow at The Journey Church Riverview, 122 McClellan Ave. Burial
will take place in the Anglican Parish of Douglas and Nashwaaksis
Cemetery at a later date. Donations to the Make A Wish Foundation in
her memory would be appreciated.
