Susan Carol “Sue” Harlan
We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Susan Carol Harlan of Edmonton, AB on Friday, February 28, 2025, at the age of 78 years.
Our dear Auntie Sue will always be loved and forever missed. She leaves to cherish her memory: niece, Amanda (Norm) Latimer of Brampton, ON; nephew, Tim Harlan of Edmonton, AB; great-nephew, Kody Latimer; great-niece, Kayla Latimer; Lexi, Rob, Scarlett, Nolan, and Liam (Winter Furtado), all of Brampton, ON, Lanna Kelly, Birgette, Hanna, Kat and Penny, all of Edmonton, AB; brothers, Tim Harlan of Edmonton, AB and William Harlan (Carrol) of Nanaimo, BC; and countless friends whom she left a lasting impression on.
Sue was predeceased by her mother, Carol Hinchey; father, William Harlan; and brother, Billy.
She was always helping out and took everyone under her wing; she was truly everyone’s Auntie Sue.
Thank you to the doctors and nurses at the University of Alberta Hospital for their care and compassion.
A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, March 6, 2025, at 1 p.m. at Park Memorial Reception Centre, 11015 – 101 Street NW, Edmonton. To view a livestream of the service, please visit www.parkmemorial.com and select “Webcasting” from Sue’s Book of Memories.
Sue had a love for animals and took such good care of her cats and dogs. In her memory, in lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to the Alberta SPCA.
