OPRICI, Stephen Svetozar
Peacefully, on Sunday, January 19, 2025, at the Greater Niagara General Hospital, at the age of 73. Dear cousin of Adam (Antoinette), Rozanne, Robert (Sandra), Shawn, and Kimberley. Born in Montreal, Quebec, to Peter and Anna Oprici, Stephen and his family moved to Niagara Falls, Ontario, in 1970, where they operated the restaurant “Coney Island”. In the 1980’s and 1990’s, Stephen owned and operated the clothing retail store “Captain’s Quarters”, in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
Stephen will always be remembered for his kindness and generosity.
The family will receive friends at MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main St., Niagara Falls, on Friday, January 31, 2025, from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Funeral will be held at St. Geroge Serbian Orthodox Church, 6085 Montrose Rd., with the Rev. Father Stanko Antic officiating on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at 1 p.m. Burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to St. George and St. Archangel Michael Serbian Orthodox Church. Memories, photos and condolences can be shared at www.morseandson.com
