Golding, Stephen “Steve” Albert John

It is with heavy hearts that the family announce Steve’s sudden death at the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at the age of 78.
Steve, of Wasaga Beach, was the beloved son of Ronald and Doris (nee Clarke) Golding and brother of June Stewart. He was a devoted husband of 54 years to Marie (nee Jillette) and a wonderful father to sons Jason (Jeanne) and Ryan.
Steve worked for many years at Atomic Energy Co. Ltd. as a financial accountant. In his lifetime, he was a very talented musician and played his bass guitar in a few bands. His hobby of collecting baseball and hockey cards, as well as going to card shows kept him busy. He loved driving his Prius. He adored his pet dog Sam, and he always smiled when he visited his shih-tzu grand-puppies Jax and Jensen.
Per Steve’s wishes, cremation has taken place with arrangements entrusted to the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home, 509 River Road West, Wasaga Beach. No formal services will be held.
