In Loving Memory of Stephanie Alyssa Ellis
October 19, 1991 – February 1, 2025
It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we announce the passing of Stephanie Ellis, beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, who was taken from us far too soon. She leaves behind her loving husband, David Ellis, and her three beautiful boys, Blake, Bennett, and Brady, who were the center of her world.
Stephanie dedicated her life to caring for others, both at home and in her professional role as a Continuing Care Assistant and Housekeeper at The Meadows Home for Special Care. Her compassion, generous heart, and sense of humor touched the lives of everyone she met. She had a rare gift for making people feel seen, heard, and loved. Her easy-going nature and bright smile made her a friend to everyone, and she had a way of lighting up any room she entered.
A devoted mother and hardworking woman, Steph balanced her many roles with a strong will and a heart full of love, even on the hardest days. She poured her heart into her family, always putting the needs of her children first, and was a constant source of support for anyone who needed a helping hand or a listening ear.
Steph found joy in the simple things—singing along to her favorite Blake Shelton songs, playing with her three boys, and watching episodes of Friends until she could recite them by heart. Her laughter, kindness, playful spirit, and generosity will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Her love, laughter, and unwavering support will remain in our hearts forever. She was our Lobster, always there for us in the ways that mattered most.
Aside from David and her three boys she is survived by her parents Michael (Josée) Harding and Yvette Hubbard; brother Capt. Bradley Harding; step siblings Melissa Cates, Cindy Rozee and Michael Morin; paternal grandmother Sarah Harding. Stephanie was predeceased by her paternal grandfather Lloyd Harding and maternal grandparents Tommy and Joan Hubbard.
A visitation will be held on February 7th ,2025 from 6-8 p.m. in the Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral Service will be Monday, February 10th ,2025 at 3p.m. from the Yarmouth Wesleyan Church. Pastor Jeffrey Peters officiating. Interment in the Chebogue Cemetery. The funeral service will be recorded and available on www.sweenysfuneralhome.net within a couple days of the service.
Family flowers only please. Memorial donations in Stephanie’s memory may be made to an education (RESP) fund set up for her boys. Payments may be made to bradharding299@gmail.com
