It is with great sorrow and sadness we announce Stan’s passing on Sunday March 23, 2025 at Peterborough Regional Health Centre in his 80th year. Loving husband of Ann-Marie for 50 years. Proud father of Jeff and Adam (Janet). Cherished papa of Evelyn, Julia, Jase and Cameron. Dear brother of Mary (late Wally) Henry and brother in-law to Mary Jo (Jay Bellissimo) Cutaia and Sylvia McMahon. He was predeceased by his parents Arthur and Kathleen, and his nephew Brian Green. Will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews. Stanley will be remembered for his kindness, generosity and great sense of humour.
Stan loved the family cottage, it wasn’t just a getaway, it was where he felt alive. Sharing laughs and making memories with his family was one of his favourite things. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and hanging out with his dog, Sadie.
He enjoyed his visits to the Golden Years to play cards with his many friends. On any given Sunday you may find Stan enjoying a NASCAR race.

A Memorial Reception will be held on Saturday April 5, 2025 at Ashburnham Funeral Home, 840 Armour Road, Peterborough from 2:30 – 4:30 PM. Tributes at 3:30 PM. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the PRHC Foundation would be appreciated. Online condolences may be made at AshburnhamFuneral.ca
