Stanley “Stan” Ostapowich
1932- 2025
It is with deep sorrow that the family of Stanley “Stan” Ostapowich of Edmonton, AB announce his peaceful passing on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at the age of 92 years.
Stan will be dearly missed by his stepdaughter, Marlene (Dwayne) Pasiechniak; step grandson, Brian Bandura; step great-grandchildren, Kenneth and Kaylie; sisters-in-law, Patricia and Sylvia; six nieces and one nephew; as well as numerous extended relatives and friends.
Stan was predeceased by his wife, Victoria; parents, Sandy and Helen; and brothers, William and Jim.
The family would like to thank the medical teams at the Glenrose Hospital and the General Hospice for their kindness and compassionate care to our loved one.
Prayer Service Monday, March 3, 2025, at 7 p.m. at Park Memorial Reception Centre, 11015 – 101 Street, Edmonton. Funeral Rite Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. at the Nativity of the Holy Virgin Orthodox Church of Kysylew, (571060 Range Road 165) Andrew, Alberta. Archpriest Vitalie Manoli officiating with interment to follow in the Church Cemetery.
