Shirley Kathleen Sondergard Obituary
On February 11, 2025, Shirley passed away peacefully at the Devon General Hospital, with her family by her side, at the age of 87.
Shirley is survived by her loving husband of almost 66 years, Harvey; children, Murray Sondergard (Anna Pawluk), Terry (Neil) Sanderson, Maureen (Randy) Berryman, and Cathy Inglis-Sondergard; grandchildren, Eric (Morgan) Sondergard, Ryan Berryman, Austin Sanderson (Brian Thai), Adam Sondergard (Shae Heatherington), Cassidy Berryman, Karen Sondergard, and Tyra Sanderson; great-grandchild, Sam Sondergard; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and relatives.
Shirley was predeceased by her parents, Percy and Evelyn Parks; siblings, Ivan Parks, Helen Bailey, Loreen Whalen, Teddy Parks, and Ken Parks.
A memorial service to honour Shirley’s life will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at 11:00 am at Peace Lutheran Church, 4606 48 St, Leduc, AB.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Leduc Lifestyles Residents Fund – Gardening.
