Loving wife of Denis Fecteau for 40 years. Reunited with her children Cheryl Fitzpatrick-Grosvenor (Bill), Tom Fitzpatrick, and Shannon Fitzpatrick-Laplante (Terry). Stepmother of Bernard Fecteau, Richard Fecteau, and Ivan Fecteau (Debbie). Proud grandmother of Courtney, Nathan, Jordan, Jamie, Jody, Travis, Wesley, Amber, Aaron, Alyssa, Stephanie, Megan, and great grandmother of many. Dear sister of Beverly King (Richard), Joan Beer (late Garnet), Johnny Labine (Anne) and predeceased by siblings Rodney Teske, Rita Rail (Reene), and Eileen Beaupre (Ivan). Shirley will also be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Shirley loved spending time in her garden and showing off her prize-winning flowers. She found great joy spending time with her family. She also loved playing and watching curling. Shirley spent a long, enjoyable career with the post office. A strong woman, Shirley was a force to be reckoned with. She was also a kind, gentle soul and will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
A memorial service will be held at Immanuel Baptist Church, 5 White Dr., Blind River on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 12 pm. Rev. Patrick Garrett officiating. Memorial contributions to a charity of choice would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Menard Funeral Home.
