Shirley Helen Fader
Peacefully at the Kingston Health Science Centre on Saturday, February 1, 2025. Shirley Fader of Kingston (formerly of Iroquois) at the age of 91. Dearly beloved wife of the late Russell Fader. Loving mother of Stephen Fader (Marion) and Sherri Lee McCullough (Peter) all of Kingston. Dear sister of Marion Scrivens, Robert Casselman, and Brian Casselman (Sue). Predeceased by her brother Ron Casselman and her sister Carolyn Zeron. Sadly, missed by her grandchildren Craig (Jenn), Matthew (Christine) and great grandson Marcus. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Shirley worked many years at the Caldwell Linen Factory, she was a lifelong member of the United Church of Canada and taught many years as a Sunday School Teacher. She was an avid golfer along with her husband Russell at the Iroquois Golf Club. After moving to Kingston, Shirley Volunteered at the Hotel Dieu Hospital.
Funeral Arrangements
A celebration of life will take place at the Marsden McLaughlin Funeral Home in Iroquois on Saturday, February 8, at 11am. Followed by a reception at the Funeral Home. Donations to the Iroquois Point Cemetery or the Kingston Health Science Centre @ The University Hospital Kingston Foundation Rose of Hope, would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
