Sheila Trachsell Obituary
Sheila Mary Trachsell (nee Browne) of Stratford, passed away peacefully with her family by her side, on March 27th, 2025, at the age of 83.
Born in Kitchener on July 24th, 1941, to the Late Lancelot and Eva Browne.
Sheila will be remembered by her husband of 49 years, Ronald Trachsell.
Beloved mother to Robert (Manuella) Trachsell, Kelly Trachsell, and Susanne (Kevin) Hawley.
Loving grandmother to Rick (Ramona) Sword, Robbie Sword, Ron (Peter) Sword, Larissa Sword, Jimmy (Katie) Hawley, and Eric (Kenzie) Hawley.
Sheila was also a proud great-grandmother to Lyla Jane Hawley.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her twin sister, and best friend, Sandy Cochrane.
Sheila lived every day to please God in every way she possibly could. Her joy was her unwavering Faith. She had a bond with her twin sister, Sanda, like none other. Sheila took pride in her family and Faith and never hesitated to help in any way she could.
Heaven has recalled an angel only lent to us for her lifetime on earth. She will forever be missed, but we find peace in knowing that she has been received by God into the paradise she worked so diligently towards every hour of every day.
Sheila was a devoted wife, mother, teacher, and Child of God. She will be deeply missed.
Cremation has taken place, and Sheila’s family will celebrate her life privately. In lieu of flowers, donations in Sheila’s memory to the Heart and Stroke foundation would be appreciated and can be made through the W.G. Young Funeral Home.
