Shawn Lefthand Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved son, brother, father, grandpa, uncle, cousin, nephew and friend Shawn Colin Lefthand. He was called home by our creator to shine at night like a shining star at the young age of 43.
Shawn Colin (Bâh-Hânânô) Lefthand was born on May 25th, 1982 and passed away on January 10th 2025 in High River, Alberta. Shawn leaves behind to mourn his mother, Alvina Lefthand, brother Stephen, sons Isaac Lefthand and Shawdon Nadeau, sisters Lynette (Pat), Pauline (Hirum), Rosie (Tyler), Karen (Devon), aunties Nancy, Phyllis, Bonita (Brian), uncles Keith (Charlene), Clifford Beltcord and Dale Brow.
Shawn was educated at the Chief Jacob Bearspaw School in Eden Valley. He had a great love for hunting and fishing in his younger years. He enjoyed paying drum for his brother Steven, until he got sick.
Shawn was a quiet and reserved person until you got to know him. He was quite the comedian and had names for all his nieces, nephews and friends. His heart was made of gold and he had tremendous love for his whole family, especially his nieces, nephews, and one special cousin, Tony Lefthand. We apologize if we have missed other family or friends.
