Passed away with her family at her side at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital, Grimsby on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at the age of 84. Loved mother of Vee (Cheryl) and Satish (Veronique). Cherished grandmother of Nicholas, Damian, Kiran and Maya. Having arrived to Canada 50 years ago from her birthplace of Mauritius, Seeta started her life in Grimsby where she gave birth to her first child Vee. Moving to St Catharines 2 years later and giving birth to Satish. She spent 48 great years in the same home, being a pillar of the neighborhood making sure all her son’s friends felt like a member of her family. She loved her daughter in laws Cheryl and Veronique as her own. Nothing made her more proud than her four grandchildren Nicholas, Damian, Kiran and a little extra love for her only granddaughter Maya. Life came full circle at the end with Seeta coming back to Grimsby where she received compassionate care at West Lincoln Memorial hospital. She is the matriarch of the Ramburn family tree in Canada and her impact will span generations. As a devout Hindu, Seeta’s soul is at peace with her Lord Krishna. Private Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Gathering to celebrate Seeta’s life will be held at STONEHOUSE-WHITCOMB FUNERAL HOME, 11 Mountain Street, GRIMSBY (905-945-2755) on Sunday January 19, 2025 from 4-7 p.m. If desired, memorial contributions to West Lincoln Memorial Hospital Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
