It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Sarah Maria Senior of Boat Harbour announces her passing. Sarah passed peacefully away surrounded by her family at the Blue Crest Nursing Home in Grand Bank on January 16, 2025 at the age of 81.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her children, Joe (Glenda), Ada Power (Rob), Trish Gaulton (Sterling), Brian (Shelly), Curtis (Laura), Jeff (Anne); 8 grandchildren, Matthew, Nicholas, Amber (Tyson), Teren, Tegen, Hillary (Robert), Simon, Isla; 1 great-granddaughter, Carmen; sister, Gladys Francis; brothers, Joe Lockyer and Leonard Lockyer (Sharon); sisters-in-law, Irene Lockyer, Dorothy Senior and Jessie Dunford; brothers-in-law, Clayton and Ross Senior; many nieces and nephews; plus a large circle of extended family and friends.
Sarah was predeceased by her husband, Clyde; parents, Charles and Norah Lockyer; parents-in-law, Oliver and Lillian Senior; brother, Ted Lockyer; sisters-in-law, Annie Moulton (Sam), Lillian Penney, Bernice Lockyer, Wynonna Senior, Alice Senior, Ella Senior; brothers-in-law, George Senior, Earl Francis and Aubrey Dunford; nephews, Corey and Jason.
The Senior Family will be accepting visitors at Wesley United Church in Boat Harbour on:
Saturday, January 18, 2025 from
1:00pm to 4:00pm
6:00pm to 9:00pm
Sunday, January 19, 2025 from
10:00am to 12 noon
A funeral service will take place at Wesley United Church in Boat Harbour on:
Sunday, January 19, 2025 at 2:30pm
Interment to follow at the United Church Cemetery in Boat Harbour
