COOPER, Sarah (nee McNally)
It is with deep sorrow, much love and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Sarah Jane Cooper at the Sault Area Hospital on March 22, 2025, at the age of 62.
She will be deeply missed by her best friend and loving husband, Jack Cooper. She was the cherished daughter of Monica McNally and the late Gerald McNally. Most loving and kind sister to the late Laurie Bouliane (Mark), Sean McNally (Chiaki), James McNally (Colleen), Michael McNally (Joanne), and Hollie Filice (Sam). Special Aunt to many nieces and nephews. We know Sarah has been warmly welcomed into heaven by her favourite and generous Aunt Teresa and Gramma Heis, who were always there for her.
Despite so many health problems and hurdles in her life, Sarah always chose to rise above. She lived her life with graciousness, kindness, and with the most open heart – always ready to show others love, empathy and compassion. Her furry friend, Stanley, kept her in check with daily walks and cuddles watching Y & R.
A special thank you to her friend, Diane Jolicoeur, for her kindness, and to the compassion and care from Dr. Abbassy, Jason, Sarah and Erin at the Sault Area Hospital Emergency Department.
Family and friends are invited to O’Sullivan Funeral Home on Friday, March 28, 2025, from 11:30am-1:30pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Jerome’s Parish at 2:00pm with Father Saurianthadathil officiating.
Memorial donations in Sarah’s memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
