It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our Mutter, Sara Untch at Headwaters Health Care Centre on Monday, March 24, 2025 at the age of 94. Dear mother of William (Susan), Alfred (Margaret), Heini, Ziri (Martin) and Mischi (Tanis). Cherished Grüss of Shawn (Christy), Meagan (David), Charlotte, Shannon, Josie and Amy. Loved great Grüss of Lily, Quintin, Jacob and Zoe. Sara is predeceased by her parents and nine siblings and survived by her younger sister Susi and many nieces and nephews in Germany and many friends.
A celebration of life will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville on Sunday, March 30th, 2025 from 12:00 to 4:00 pm. Family and friends are invited to share their words of comfort and remembrance at 2pm.
A tree will be planted in memory of Sara in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville.
