It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sandra Phillion, beloved wife of Brian Donnelly on Sunday March 16, 2025, in her 71st year. Sandra, a proud mother of Laura (Ryan) Hogg and Tricia Phillion, and devoted grandmother to Kaylan and Cameron, was a shining light in the lives of all who knew her. Her family was her everything, and her love for them knew no bounds.
Predeceased by her parents, Marshall and Jean, and her brother Bob Tubby, Sandra leaves behind her sister-in-law, Mitzi, as well as a close-knit family and numerous friends who will remember her for her warmth and unwavering positivity.
Sandra worked in banking, retiring from TD Bank after a long and successful career. However, it was her generous spirit, infectious smile, and joyful attitude that truly defined her. She faced life’s challenges with strength and grace, especially when she was diagnosed with cancer. Through it all, Sandra remained resolute, always embodying her mantra, “We will get through it,” and teaching those around her the value of perseverance.
Sandra’s greatest joy came from spending time with her family. She adored watching her grandchildren play hockey and cherished the moments spent baking and cooking with her granddaughter. These precious memories were among the ones she held most dear.
She was the friend who loved spending time together over a glass (or bottle) of red wine.
Above all, Sandra loved fiercely. Her family was always her priority, and she made sure they knew how much they were loved. She will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love, strength, and joy will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
As per her wishes cremation has taken place and no formal services will be held at this time. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to Hospice Georgian Triangle Foundation in Sandra’s memory.
