GRAVES, Sandra Jean ~ Age 83, of Berwick, formerly of Aylesford, Kings Co., passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2025, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born on June 13, 1941, in Kentville, she was a daughter of the late Henry A. and Bernice G. (Webber) Mahar. Sandra had worked as a C.N.A., training at the I.W.K. Children’s Hospital, Halifax, and had been employed at Western Kings Memorial Hospital, Berwick. She was married at the West End Baptist Church, Halifax, where she had been a member. Sandra was always interested in crafts, and enjoyed time spent in her flower garden. Surviving are sons, Michael Graves (Debbie Forsythe), Canaan; Darrell Graves (Shauna Angove), Kingston; grandchildren, Kyle, Mallory, Amy, Stephanie, David and Melanie; 13 great grandchildren with one more expected in February; sister, Judy (Tim) Fredericks, Middle Sackville; sister-in-law, Linda Mahar, British Columbia; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by grandson, Joshua; brother, Earl. There will be no visitation. A private graveside service will take place in the spring in Aylesford Union Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to your favourite charity. Arrangements have been entrusted to Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, 1-855-825-3448.
