Elsie, Samuel – passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 in his 98th year. Beloved husband of the late Pauline Margaret Elsie (nee Johnson) for 74 years. Loving father of Mark (Sue). Grandfather of Sam (Melissa). Great grandpa of twins, Brooke and Dylan Elsie and Jessica and Matt Gallant. Brother of Ann Dick (David). He is survived by several nieces and nephews including Val Hammond. Predeceased by his father Roy, mother Dorothy and brother Percy. Sam was a licensed mechanic and for many years owned and operated a service station in Niagara Falls and Sam’s Shell Service on Niagara St. North in Welland. At Samuel’s request, there will be no visitation, cremation to take place. If so desired, memorial donations to Welland Humane Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences available at www.cudneyfuneralhome.com.
