It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Samuel Ralph of Grand Bank, NL, announces his passing. Samuel passed away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital in St. John’s, NL on February 15, 2025, at the age of 89.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are his wife, Shirley, of 64 years; children, Linda Elford (Glenn) of Fortune, Kathy Parsons of Grand Bank, Marlene Ralph of Grand Bank, George Ralph (Sharon) of Grand Bank; 6 grandchildren, Natasha (Damon), Melissa (Terrance), Travis (Pam), Jeffrey, Alysia, Hailey; 7 great-grandchildren, Jenna, Kaitlyn, Liam, Elyse, Charlotte, Novah, Lewis; special nephew, Terry Chant (Cathy) of Chamberlains; siblings, Betty (Paul) of Grand Bank, Jack (Maude) of Grand Bank, Judy (Scott) of Halifax; sisters-in law, Ella Ralph of Grand Bank, Carrie Ralph of Grand Bank, Blanch Joiner of Ottawa, Violet Chant of LaPoile, Audrey Bateman of LaPoile, Nora Mavin of Fortune, plus a large circle of extended family and friends.
Samuel was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Winnifred Ralph; Parents-in-law, Phillip and Bessie Chant; brothers, Stan, Bob and Gar; sister, Dinah; son, Terry; son-in-law, Charl Parsons; in-laws, Reginald Chant, Thomas Mavin, Clayton Bateman, Tillie Ralph, Nathanial Scott, Marty Joiner; and just a few short hours after Sam’s passing, his brother, Frank, departed from his earthly home to join him, their parents & other siblings in their heavenly home.
Cremation to take place.
