It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of SALVATORE BONGIOVI on Sunday, January 05, 2025 at the age of 83.
He will be greatly missed by his beloved wife Vera Cappello Bongiovi, his loving daughters Rosamaria, Isabella (Giuseppe) and Jessica (Alessandra), his cherished grandchildren Andrew (Tiziana), Tiffany (Pascal), Simone (Sabrina), Gabriel, Lorena and Camilla, his great grandchildren James, Luca, Emma and Sofia, his brothers Guido (Lina) and Antonio (Maria) as well as his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitations will be held at Magnus Poirier Funeral Complex, 10300 Pie IX Blvd. on Wednesday, January 08, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 09, 2025 at 11 a.m. at the Good News Chapel situated on 5845 boul. Couture in Saint-Léonard, then to the Laval Cemetery, 5505 Rang du bas St-François, Laval.
The family wishes to thank the doctors, oncology team and the nursing staff at Santa Cabrini Hospital for their care and compassion.
