Sally Lynn Mcadam
1983-2025
The passing of Sally Lynn Mcadam occurred unexpectedly in
Rollingdam NB on February 8, 2025. Born in Saint John NB on August 10,
1983, she was a daughter of Kimberly A. Mcadam and the late Francis W.
Walsh.
Sally will be lovingly remembered by her children: Kerry
Smythe (Dante Hatt) of St. George NB and Robert Smythe of St. Stephen
NB; her fiancé: Zack McVicar of Rollingdam NB and his
children whom she loved as her own, Madison, Lillian and David; her
chosen sister: Ann Marie (Corey) Wilcox of St. Stephen NB; her mother:
Kim Mcadam of Tower Hill NB; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and
many friends.
Sally had a bright smile and a sense of humor that would
light up the room when she entered. With the “gift to gab”
she truly was a social butterfly who had the ability to strike up a
conversation with someone she just met and left them feeling like they
made a new best friend. Self-less, Sally was always the first to lend
a hand to her friends and those in need. She loved nature and
gardening and found her calling while working for Kingsbrea Garden in
St. Andrews. Above all, Sally loved her children, family, animals
(especially her cats and dogs) and her friends. While she may be gone,
her spitfire personality, love, humor and generous heart will always
be remembered by all who knew and loved her.
Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home
(506-755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB. A celebration of
Sally’s life will be held at the Elmsville Community Hall,
Route 760, on Saturday from 2-4 pm. A graveside service will take
place at the Rollingdam Cemetery in the Spring. In Sally’s
memory, donations to the Mental Health Association of NB or to the
SPCA would be greatly appreciated by the family.
