Sadie Bulmer
1949-2025
Following a lengthy illness, Sadie Clementine Bulmer of Durham Bridge,
NB, passed away at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on April
12, 2025.
Sadie was born in Woodstock, NB, on December 13, 1949. She was the
daughter of the late Leo and Lillian (Ruest) Martin. Sadie leaves
behind her loving husband of 54 years, Alfred Bulmer; her children,
Kathy Young (Dana) of Rothesay, NB, Adam Bulmer of Moncton, NB, Tammy
Major (Patrick) of Halifax, NS, and Lisa Richard of Durham Bridge, NB;
eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren; her sisters, Louise
Toner (Danny) of Beaconsfield, NB and Laura Martin of Fredericton, NB;
her brothers, Paul Martin of Centreville, NB, Albert Martin (Rachel)
of Lac la Biche, AB, Louis Martin of Greenfield, NB, David Martin
(Pauline) of Valhalla Center, AB, and Lee Martin of Fredericton, NB;
along with many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service was held on Thursday, April 17, 2025 at 2 pm from
Brunswick Funeral Home. Father Gilbert Doddatto officiated. Interment
will be in St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Cemetery at a later
date.
The eulogy was given by Sadie’s daughter, Kathy Young.
For those who wish, memorial donations to the NB Alzheimer Society or
the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the
family.
Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover,
NB.
