On Saturday, January 4, 2025 Russ passed away peacefully at the age of 90. Predeceased his wife Mary (nee MacAdam). Loving father to son Bruce (Becky). Adored grandfather to Colleen (Liam), Monica (Matthew), and Corinna. Predeceased by his brother Bob Cooper, and sister Norma Maxwell. He will also be dearly missed by nephews Norman, Patrick, St.Clair, and Dunstan. Russ was a retired electrician from Stelco Hilton Works. He was a lifelong fisherman and hunter and enjoyed many years at the hunting camp with his buddies. During his younger years, Russ played football at Central High School and also was a rower at Leander Boat Club. A private family interment has taken place.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday January 11, 2025 between the hours of 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. at the Hamilton Air Force Association located at 128 King Street East, Dundas ON. L9H1V2
