Bathurst – It is with great sadness that we, the Family, announce the death of Mrs. Ruby Clark, wife of the late George Clark, of Bathurst, which occurred Thursday January 16, 2025, at the Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes, Bathurst, at the age of 95.
Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Sarah (Ward) Morrison.
Ruby worked as a head cashier and bookkeeper at several large grocery stores for most of her life. Her early adulthood was spent in Toronto, then she moved back to Bathurst in the late 1960’s.
She is survived by one brother, Leigh Morrison (Evelyn) of Bathurst.
Several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews
She was pre-deceased by four brothers: Wheldon, Earl, Harley, Sinclair and three sisters: Verna, Emily and Elsie.
The body will rest at Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst, on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
Funeral Service will be held on Thursday January 23, 2025, at 1 p.m. from St. Lukes Presbyterian Church, Murray Ave., Bathurst.
Flowers will be graciously received as well as any donations in memory of Ruby may be made to a favourite charity.
