Obituary
It is with heavy hearts & many memories that we announce the sudden passing of Roxanna Noami (Roxy) Keough, on February 1st, 2025, at the Bonne Bay Health Centre, in Norris Pt, NL, at the age of 74 years.
Roxy leaves to mourn many friends and family. Hers sons; Lance (Kelli), Rudy (Kerrilynn), Wilby Martin, Larry (Josie), Mark (Kelly), and step-son; Frank, her grandchildren; Kelsey, DJ (Jodi), Amber, Morgan (Kyle), Kristen, Ashley, Shane, Megan, Matthew, & Tasha (Matthew), her great grandchildren; Evan, Keegan, Hayden, Kailyn, Kristen, Damon, Bonnie, and Maddie. Her sisters; Charlotte, Adelaide (Bill), and Theresa, and her brother; Bill (Delora). Also left to mourn a large number of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Roxy was predeceased by her parents; Martha and Fred Keough, her brothers and sisters; Lawrence, Fanny (Clyde), Bert (Mae), Jim (Hazel), Cecilia (Ira), Joyce (Ross), and Eugene, and her brothers-in-law; Bill, and Richard. Roxy had a large extended family- in-laws that will miss her dearly too, also the family of the late Wilby Parsons father to her boys.
A special thank you to past homecare workers; Edith, Amy, Sheldon, and Maxwell. Also the family would like to express sincere gratitude to all the staff at the Bonne Bay Health Centre, in Norris Pt, NL, for their kindness, Care & Compassion they had shown to Roxy, it has been deeply appreciated by the families.
The family will be receiving family and friends at The St. Peter’s Anglican Church in Parsons Pond, NL, on Monday, February 3rd, 2025, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm, where also the funeral service will take place from on Tuesday, February 4th, 2025, at 2:00 pm, with Rev Terry Rose officiating with the burial to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, in Parsons Pond, NL.
