Roslyn Anne Rowat
1952-2025
It is with profound sadness that we share the peaceful passing of Roslyn Anne Rowat on February 23rd, 2025, while in residence at the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence in Kirkland, QC. She will be deeply missed by her devoted husband, Terence Bovaird, and cherished daughters, Rowan Alexandra Drummond (Paul Prokos) and Lindsay Anne Elizabeth (Ben Iwanowski), her siblings Ross, Ronda, and Rhea, her nieces and nephews, her granddaughter Shyla, and her Irish Terrier, Tully.
Perhaps nothing, aside from her family, made her happier than being perched in a beach chair facing the ocean, under an umbrella, with a book in her lap and a tired dog at her feet. Born and raised in Pointe-Claire, Roslyn eventually found her way downtown, where she met her husband, trailblazed an award-winning creative career, and raised two daughters who adored and admired her endlessly. Her greatest joy in recent months was earning the title of Nana, and enjoying every moment possible with her first grandchild.
Roslyn’s witty charm, unwavering grace, inspiring determination, and unconditional kindness will forever be etched into the hearts of those privileged to have known her.
The family will hold a private service to say their goodbyes in an intimate setting. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Sophie’s Dog Adoption (click here) or the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence (click here) would be an honor to Roslyn’s memory of love and compassion.
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Roslyn Anne Rowat 19522025..
