It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Rosemary Adshead, who passed away with her family by her side, on Sunday, January 12th at the age of 92.
Predeceased by her loving husband, Raymond of 65 years. Much loved Mum, Nana and Great Nana to Kathleen Caswell, Ann Lovie (Derek), Grandchildren Laurie (Norm), Marisa (Steve), Jeff (Kristen), Brad (Amanda), Luci (Josh), Great-Grandchildren Kristian, Owen, Josh, Victoria, Mason, Crüesen and Sterling.
Rosemary will be dearly missed by family in England/UK.
Rosemary lived for her family and was known for her kindness, sense of humour, resilience, and generosity. She could always be found dancing, enjoying music, gardening, and making the best of every moment.
Rosemary was born on April 2nd 1932 in Stoke on Trent, England. She lived a full and meaningful life, touching the hearts of all who knew her.
Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Saturday, January 25th, 2025 from 12-1 p.m., where the Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at 1 p.m.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to all of the staff at Cama Woodlands, who provided care, support and friendship during Rosemary’s final years.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in her memory can be made to Cama Woodlands LTC.
