Rose Hehir (Hannigan) beloved wife of Kevin M. Hehir entered Eternal Life on March 4th, 2025, at Kensington Village Long Term Care Home, London. She is survived by her sister Dympna McGorman; sons, Michael, Conor (Mayumi), Kevin (Cara), Paul (Åsa) and Raymond; grandchildren, Maja, Elsa, Nolan, Llewellyn, Aloysius and Kenneth. Predeceased by her parents, Hugh Patrick Hannigan and Catherine Jane Hannigan (Green); her brothers, John Patrick, Hugh, James and his wife, Anne; her sisters, Mary Jane Silo (George), Kathleen Flynn (Matthew), Margaret Hales (John) and Angela Newmeir (Derek); and her brother-in-law, Terrence McGorman. Survived by many nephews and nieces. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peter’s Cathedral Basilica, 196 Dufferin Avenue, London, at 10 am, on Friday March 14th, 2025, followed by internment at Holy Family Chapel Mausoleum, St. Peter’s Cemetery, 806 Victoria Street, London. In lieu of flowers, consider a donation to St. Peter’s Cathedral Building Fund, 511 Cheapside Street, London, ON N5Y 3X5. Rose’s family expresses heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Andrew Whynot and the management and staff at Kensington Village long Term Care Home for their exemplary service to Rose while she was in their care. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street, London, is in charge of arrangements.
