It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Rosalina Barlaan (née Rubic) on Tuesday, March 4th, 2035 at the Cornwall Community Hospital at the age of 91 years. Beloved wife of the late Teodoro Barlaan. Loving mother of Ludivina Cuadra (Jose), Armeda Sisom (late Romeo), Israel Barlaan (Lucila), Ricardo Barlaan (Arlene), Pompeyo Barlaan (Susan), Ma.Elena Santiago (Eduardo). Cherished grandmother of Sydney, Jerome P, Jason, Jordan, Jean Michael, Paul Miki, Mikael Nikolai, Michael Angelo, Mark Jude, Joyce, Justin, Mark June, Marvin John, Charlene, Rose, Ricky, Arvee, Kaymarie, Pompey, Edel, Edsmarie, Edmond, Ma.Christina, Anna Marie, Marie, Marites, Michael and Mark. She is predeceased by her mother Bueneventurada Simora and by her children Donato Barlaan and Eden Mallare.
Rosalina’s family warmly invites all family and friends to gather for a time of visitation and remembrance on Sunday March 9th, 2025 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Monday, March 10th, 2025 from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall, ON (613-938-3888). Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, March 10th, 2025 at 11 a.m. followed by burial at Notre-Dame Cemetery.
