Rosalie Pesklewis
It is with heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Rose Pesklewis of St. Albert, on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at the age of 89 years.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, John, Mark, Paula Gerlach and Matthew; grandchildren, Spencer (Lindsey), Bethany, and Thomas Gerlach, James, Samuel and Benjamin Pesklewis; sister Olga (Gordon) Fleming; siblings-in-law, Donna Opryshko, Shirley (Geoff) Park, Anne Tyler, and Michael (Shirley) Abraniuk; and 17 nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, John and Maria Opryshko; sister Anne (Edward) Carrow; and brothers, George and Peter.
A Divine Liturgy will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 21, at St. Basil’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, 7007-109 St NW, Edmonton with Basilian Fathers officiating. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, 14611 Mark Messier Trail.
