Rosalie Ann Rule
After a 3-year battle with cancer, Rosalie ‘Ros’ Rule passed away peacefully on May 1st, 2025 in her 86th year at St. Joseph’s Hospice.
Survived by her beloved husband of 62 years Paul.
Loving Mother to Andrew (Kendra) of Vancouver, BC and Tim (Shannon) of Seattle, WA.
Cherished grandmother to Brodie, Ashley, Jenna, Ryder and Cruz.
Survived by her Brother John (Sheila) of Cornwall and remembered fondly by her many nieces and nephews in England.
Ros dedicated her life to education and taught at the separate school board in London and Dorchester area for 33 years. Ros also spent 10 years teaching Keep Fit with the VON program – Dorchester.
A special thanks to the staff and volunteers at St. Joseph’s Hospice for the wonderful care and compassion over the last 5 weeks. An extra special thanks to our close friends and neighbors for their support over the last few years.
A Celebration of Life for Ros will be held at the Bieman Funeral Home, 3970 Hamilton Road, Dorchester, ON on Saturday May 10th, 2025 from 1pm to 4pm with Words of Remembrance at 3pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph’s Hospice or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
