With our deepest sorrow, we announce the passing of Ronald Wayne Thompson of Penticton, BC. Ronnie died on February 8, 2025, at the age of 62 years.
He is remembered by his siblings, Gerald (Patricia) of Norfolk County, ON, Randall (Jenine) of Penticton, BC, Daniel (Alice) of Midale, SK, Donna (Terry) of Edmonton, AB, Michael (Dale) of Burlington, ON, Alan (Connie) of Vancouver, BC, and brother-in-law, Robert Brown of Hamilton, ON.
Ronnie is sadly predeceased by his parents, Edgar and Lorraine of Burlington, ON; sister, Brenda of Hamilton, ON; and brother, Arthur of Burlington, ON.
May he rest in peace. Our grief is shared by many relatives and friends.
He was known to his friends and family as Rockin’ Ronnie. He carried a heart full of love, peace, joy, and laughter. From a young age to his final days, music was his passion and driving force, carrying him through this journey we call life. Whenever he picked up his guitar, the room would come alive, filled with the sounds of his music and the warmth of his character. Clearly, he was anointed by God.

Life came with its fair share of challenges for Ron; however, he faced them with a heart filled with love, truth, and boldness. He never stopped sharing his gifts of music, love, joy, peace, and laughter with those around him. His spirit was one of generosity, resilience, and unwavering kindness.
We love you. We miss you. We celebrate your life. We surrender you into the arms of Jesus, knowing that this is not goodbye, but until we meet again.
