TELFORD: Ronald Gordon “Red” – of St. Williams, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 21, 2025 at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe in his 82nd year.
Beloved husband of Edna (Long) Telford who he married November 19, 1965. Dear father of Sherri Yoworski (Cai) of Ingersoll and Tammi & husband Mike Hawley of Aylmer. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Jeffery & Corrinna, Justin & Kerry, Chris & Victoria, Emily, Nicholas, Kandi & Rex, Jason & Deszarae, Leah & Clayton and by great grandchildren Nolan, Kaleb, Kane, Zella, Chloe and Travis. Survived by his sister Patricia & husband Wayne McBride of Simcoe, brother Fred Telford of Hamilton and sister-in-law Theresa Telford of Hamilton and by his many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Gordon & Thelma (Dunn) Telford, brother Bob and sister Helen & husband Ray Earles.
A Celebration of Red’s life will take place at the Port Rowan Legion on Saturday, March 29, 2025 from 2-5pm. Interment will have taken place in Johnson Cemetery, St. Williams.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Norfolk General Hospital or the Simcoe and District Humane Society would be appreciated by the family. Personal condolences can be posted at www.gffh.ca
