The family announces with sorrow the passing of a loving husband and father on January 11, 2025, at the age of 80. Dear husband to Jocelyne Marcoux (nee; Tremblay), father to Colleen (Jimm), Kathy (James) and Marina (John). Son of the late Hector Marcoux and Aline (nee Proulx) Marcoux (both predeceased).
Loving brother to Dennis (Carole), Fern (Alphonse predeceased) Roger (predeceased) (Annette), Predeceased by siblings Harvey (Evelyne), Bill (Rita), Doralda (Freddie), Faye (Jack), Shirley (Tom). Cherished grandfather to, Joseph, Wade, Sean, Tayia, Jamie-Lynn, Cameron and Trenton and 10 great grandchildren. Will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
Ron was an avid fisherman and hunter, and you could always find him either on the water or on a trail. Next to his family, music was his passion and there are many cherished memories of his beautiful voice and his guitar playing the tune of “Little Arrows” this song will forever live in our hearts. A millwright by trade he was really a jack of all trades and there wasn’t anything he couldn’t fix or repair, he was always willing to lend a hand to others. He will be dearly missed, A sincere thank you to all the nurses and staff at Espanola General Hospital and Dr. Leblanc at Health Sciences North.
Donations in lieu of flowers are welcomed to Diabetes Association and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
